Although our growth to this point has been largely organic, small to mid-sized acquisitions, partnerships and venture capital deals play a major role in our growth plans. We are nothing if not flexible so there are countless ways to structure acquisitions, including asset purchases or earn outs which may or may not keep current ownership in the picture once the deal is executed.
In November of 2007 we made our largest acquisition to date of Mulberry Staffing, a five office operation in North Carolina. Ken Moore, the company’s owner stayed on in a consulting capacity for a year and Kristi Kivett, his executive VP became a regional manager for us. Kristi and her area have absolutely thrived as an Onin Staffing operation. More recently in 2009 we executed two earn-out acquisitions in Dallas and then in 2011 we purchased Reliable Staffing on the Gulf Coast. Also in 2011 we stepped off into a joint venture with a boutique staffing firm, Moxy, out of Birmingham.
Our lean, localized command structure make it very easy for companies to fold into our organization. Whether you are looking for some cash and a quick exit or you are a potential like-minded partner interested in access to capital, strong insurance programs, full back office capabilities and combined marketing efforts, we want to talk to you.
