25 Aug Ōnin sponsors 5th Annual R(un) for One
Ōnin served as a proud sponsor of the 5th Annual R(un) For One 5K and One Mile Fun Run on August 20 in support of Lifeline Children Services’ (Un)adopted orphan program, raising a total of$9,200 for (Un)adopted, more than any other team participating in the race.
All R(un) for One proceeds were donated to programs that assist orphans considered “unadoptable” due to their age, life circumstances or special needs. (Un)adopted operates foster centers and group homes around the world that teach vulnerable children life skills and the gospel while caring for their physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs with the purpose of transforming communities around the world.
Treating people well and approaching our business relationships with a heart of service is simply the right thing to do. Our desire to be a positive force extends beyond our business and into the community. Ōnin is committed to supporting positive change, so we created the Seeds Initiative to support respective communities around the world, with a focus on developing educational and vocational growth. We work with organizations both domestically and internationally that support opportunity youth, transitioning individuals moving out of poverty, alleviating crisis situations and minority-owned businesses.
Ōnin supports causes that create opportunities and positively impact the trajectory of lives, so we are excited to be a part of (Un)adopted’s mission to aid children in need, which aligns with our core values.
